5 Reasons You Should Have an Outdoor Wedding

1) The wedding pictures will be gorgeous because of natural lighting.

If the wedding is held outside then the photographer doesn’t need to use or can use little artificial light, thus showing everyone’s naturally beautiful skin tones. If you your wedding is outside the environment and decorations will have a whole new look when it changes from daytime to nighttime. The ceremony and the guest at the reception will be captured in a perfect lighting which will allow for the moment in the picture to be the focus. The lighting for your wedding is really important; it’s the memories in these pictures that live on.

This is when the groom got emotional when he set his eyes on his bride that he will care for his entire life.

2) An outdoors venue’s backdrop is perfect and creates a relaxing environment.

Your pictures and environment will be a natural beauty. The local animal life (birds, butterflies, swans and squirrels) will bring more magic to your wedding day. If you have it in nature it requires less decoration money. The natural setting can make the day even more memorable.

3) The venues space cost is usually cheaper or FREE.

You can have it in your own backyard, a friends or rent it from someone on Airbmb. Because an outdoor wedding saves you so much money you can budget for unpredictable weather. Whether the weather is warm, chilly or raining it can be accommodated with heaters, misters/fans and tents.

4) Outdoor weddings allow you total freedom.

You and your guest will have plenty of space during the reception to have set-ups (photo booth, bar, etc.) and play game areas. With an outside venue there is: no limitations on decorations, freedom to choose whichever local vendor you want and unlimited options on choosing your wedding date.

At this specific wedding they took the ceremony decorations and moved them around to accommodate the reception’s dance floor.

5) You can have your ceremony and reception in the same place.

If you have your whole wedding in one place it saves on time and money. All the photography can happen at that location. You only have to pay for one venue instead of two (ceremony and reception). Also, the decorations can easily be moved from the ceremony to the reception.

This wedding held the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in the same area of grass.
